The Daily Doo has been eagerly awaiting the new Amanda Crew flick, Sex Drive (with James Marsden and Seth Green). Naturally, TDD staffers have been scouring the interweb in search of Sex Drive news -- and no unemployed (let's face it) film lover's "research" would be complete without a trip to the forums on IMDb.com. Whether or not you believe the message board postings are made by overzealous film geeks -- the only thing that reeks worse than a Jessica Simpson star vehicle is (a) a cluster of back-and-forth postings (b) made six months or more before release (c) but within ten minutes of each other (d) conveying rabid interest, anticipation, and, suspiciously, a very non-civilian knowledge of the production timeline for said film -- the forums are a solid place to squander at least twenty minutes of your employer's time on any given weekday.
With that in mind, we think the following highlights from the Sex Drive message board thread entitled "I SAW THIS MOVIE ASK ME ANYTHING", are a classic illustration of the funny things that happen on your way through the IMDb forums:
